Malaysia OP8 CPS Sarawak Baseline Workshop by IMPS

✨ Journey to the Development of Malaysia’s SGP OP8 CPS Document: Sarawak ✨

On 11 February 2026, IM Possible Solutions (IMPS) team had the privilege to conduct the Baseline Assessment Workshop for Sarawak’s landscape in collaboration with UNDP and UNOPS at Pullman Hotel, Kuching. This workshop is part of our work in helping develop Malaysia’s Small Grants Programme (SGP) Operational Phase 8 (OP8) Country Programme Strategy (CPS) document.

The session convened NGOs and representatives from the Sarawak Government, including District Officers and various government agencies, to undertake the Socio-ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes (SEPLS) Baseline Assessment for Sarawak’s landscape. The workshop also served as a platform to gather insights and feedback from potential grantees to ensure that future interventions are grounded in local realities and priorities.

This baseline process is a critical step in shaping informed, inclusive, and impactful implementation under OP8.
