Advancing the Commercialisation of Sarawak’s Biodiversity 🌿

On 20 June 2026, our Managing Director, @amirisyam, had the privilege to facilitate the Bioverde Technologies (BVT) Strategic Workshop at Aloft Central Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, bringing together its Board of Directors and management team to review and align on the organisation’s Five-Year Plan.

As the commercialisation arm of the Sarawak Biodiversity Council and one of Sarawak’s new state-owned enterprises, BVT plays a vital role in transforming Sarawak’s biodiversity, research, and indigenous knowledge into products and opportunities that generate both economic and community value. The workshop provided a platform for strategic discussions on BVT’s mandate, vision, organisational direction, and future priorities in advancing the commercialisation of biodiversity-based innovations for the state of Sarawak.
