Malaysia OP8 CPS Johor-Pahang Baseline Workshop

✨ Journey to the Development of Malaysia’s SGP OP8 CPS Document: Johor & Pahang ✨

On 25 February 2026, IM Possible Solutions (IMPS) team had the privilege to conduct the 2nd Baseline Assessment Workshop for the Johor & Pahang landscape in collaboration with UNDP and UNOPS at the AC Hotel, Kuantan. This workshop is part of our work in helping develop Malaysia’s Small Grants Programme (SGP) Operational Phase 8 (OP8) Country Programme Strategy (CPS) document.

The workshop brought together NGOs and representatives from the Johor and Pahang state governments, including District Officers and various government agencies, to undertake the Socio-ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes (SEPLS) Baseline Assessment for the region. The session also served as a platform to gather insights and feedback from potential grantees, ensuring that future interventions for OP8 are aligned with on-the-ground realities and local priorities.

A solid baseline assessment will guide clear planning and more effective implementation on the ground.
