Closing the Loop: Cross-Industry Partnerships for Effective Waste-to-Wealth Ecosystems
Our Managing Director, Amir Isyam Abdul Rahim, recently had the privilege of moderating the panel discussion “Closing the Loop: Cross-Industry Partnerships for Effective Waste-to-Wealth Ecosystems” at the Asia ESG Summit 2026, bringing together ESG practitioners, policymakers, industry leaders, and sustainability experts to explore practical approaches to advancing Waste-to-Wealth initiatives.
The discussion highlighted that Waste-to-Wealth starts with a strong business case. Before organisations look for external partners, they must first understand their own operations, waste streams, and capabilities. Knowing your numbers allows organisations to identify where waste holds commercial value, and that begins with reliable data.
It also reinforced that successful partnerships are built on trust and transparency. Organisations that understand what they can offer, and what they need from others, are better positioned to build meaningful collaborations that create shared value.
Ultimately, the conversation served as a reminder that Waste-to-Wealth is no longer just a sustainability aspiration; it is becoming a business imperative. Start building the partnerships that will turn waste into value today, because if you don’t, your competitors or regulation may catch up with you sooner than you think.
Our sincere appreciation to A-EPIC – Asia ESG Positive Impact Consortium, Star Media Group Berhad, the distinguished panellists, and everyone who joined the discussion.
